After a wonderful and busy Christmas holiday, President Trump arrived back at work ready to get down to business and start the year off right.
Trump held his first Cabinet meeting of the year today where he reaffirmed his stance on border wall funding that the Democrats refuse to approve even though they have done so for past presidents.
“The United States needs a physical barrier.”
Despite Democrats obstructing him, President Trump vowed to “get a lot done” working with them and continuing to make this country great again. But he refuses to budge on his number one campaign promise to Americans, which is to fund a border wall between the United States and Mexico.
“We are in a shutdown because Democrats refuse to fund border security.”
Trump also used to meeting to poke fun at now-retired Congressmen Bob Corker (R-TN) and Jeff Flake (R-AZ) who are retiring at the end of this Congress on January 3rd.
“So Jeff Flake is now selling real estate or whatever he is doing. He will probably go to work for CNN. That’s my prediction.”
Trump wouldn’t let Flake go without telling him what he really thinks of his time as a Congressman.
Do you agree with Trump that Jeff Flake is a RINO?
