On Sunday, Washington DC got a major snowfall which covered the entire White House grounds. President Trump was in awe of the beautiful scene and posted on Twitter that he wanted to share it with the American people.
“Wish I could share with everyone the beauty and majesty of being in the White House and looking outside at the snow filled lawns and Rose Garden. Really is something – SPECIAL COUNTRY, SPECIAL PLACE!”” tweeted Trump on Sunday afternoon.
Just minutes later, the First Lady put out a tweet on her account which showed what was presumably the majestic view that her husband was referring to.
Her image shows the grounds, which are definitely snow-covered. President Trump was correct when he said the view “really is something.” The White House twitter page went on to share both of their tweets so that the country could all take in the same view as their President and First Lady.
From the exchange on social media, it is clear that Trump and Melania were both spending the snowy afternoon together, admiring the view from their home. They are clearly enjoying their day off, and spending some much needed time together.
In March of last year the First Lady also put out an adorable picture of her and President Trump standing together smiling in front of the snowy White House lawn.
SHARE if you are proud of President Trump and First Lady Melania for staying tough despite the hostility from the left!
