Liz Warren Takes A Cheap Shot At Trey Gowdy On Twitter. Big Mistake.

On Friday, 2020 Presidential hopeful Elizabeth Warren thought she could get away with taking a cheap shot at Trey Gowdy on Twitter, but she was quickly put in her place by the South Carolina Rep.

For seemingly no reason, Warren openly attacked Gowdy for his decision to change careers. Gowdy recently announced his plans to work for Nelson Mullins, a South Carolina-based law and lobbying firm he previously worked for.

Yes, Warren is critiquing a life-long lawyer for returning to his original career. This is what happens when Democrats have nothing better to do.

“Trey Gowdy foamed at the mouth with power in Congress, then retired because he claimed he didn’t enjoy it. Now it’s clear: Trey Gowdy just wanted a fat lobbyist paycheck. That should be illegal,” she bizarrely tweeted.

VOTE: Should Trump keep the Government closed until he gets the wall?

Gowdy immediately clapped back, telling her to focus on facts while mocking her for awkwardly drinking a beer during her recent livestream.

“I’m not lobbying. Not now. Or ever. Perhaps you were cracking open a beer when that was announced. Don’t mind your criticisms. Just be more sensitive to facts,” Gowdy fired back.

After seeing this exchange, many users on Twitter blasted Warren and applauded Gowdy:

Daily Beast writer Lachlan Markay pointed out just how absurd Warren was for bringing this up:

“Uh, Gowdy is a lawyer. He’s returning to the law firm where he worked prior to being in government. There’s no indication he’ll be a lobbyist. So the story is really just Former Congressman Returns To Day Job,” said Markay.

Why do you think Warren took this cheap shot? Is this just another attempt on her end to stay relevant? Comment below with your thoughts…

She is too dumb to be a politician. Maybe she and Ocasio-Cortez can run together, both are just as dumb.
