John R. Bolton, Assistant to the President and National Security Adviser attended the Heritage Foundation on Thursday in Washington, D.C. Bolton did not disappoint America in his announcement regarding the United Nations.
The Heritage Foundation is a “think tank devoted to the principles of free enterprise, limited government, individual freedom, traditional American values, and a strong national defense.” (VIDEO BELOW.)
America will no longer support countries who do NOT support America.
The message is simple enough. If a country does not support America and behaves in a way that is counter to what America believes in – then we will no longer give them free money.
Townhall reported, “During his speech at the Heritage Foundation in Washington, D.C., National Security Adviser John Bolton said the United States would no longer support United Nations peacekeeping missions that lack focus and are wasteful.”
Bolton said, “The United States will no longer provide indiscriminate assistance across the entire continent, without focus or prioritization and we will no longer support unproductive, unsuccessful, and unaccountable U.N. peacekeeping missions.”
“We want something more to show for Americans’ hard-earned taxpayer dollars,” Bolton implored, per Townhall. (VIDEO BELOW.)
If a country votes against the United States then their aide may be withheld.
Specifically, Bolton said, “Countries that repeatedly vote against the United States in international forums, or take action counter to U.S. interests, should not receive generous American foreign aid. #BoltonAtHeritage”
Additionally, he said, “The U.S. will respect the independence of other nations in providing humanitarian, security, and development relief. We are not among those powers that pursue dollars for dependency.”
America has a tough love stance on the international world stage. The days of giving our tax dollars away for nothing are over.
